Christ Worshipper, Husband, Father, Singer, Musician, and Educator

Greetings family!

​

     I want you to know a little about myself, my vision, and my passion for Christ and Intersection church. 

     I am the proud husband of Tiffany Mitchell, my beautiful wife of 20 years, and father of my three beautiful children Kaalyn, Ty, and Matthew who are the loves of my life. We are originally from Nacogdoches, Texas, and have been in the DFW area for 14 years.

     I am a Stephen F. Austin State University alumni where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education degree. Axe em' Jacks!

     Teaching 5th-grade English and social studies was a delight for the beginning portion of my career in education. Later, I was privileged to serve in a leadership capacity as an assistant principal at the secondary level. Currently, I serve as an assistant principal at an elementary school. It is an absolute joy to see the growth and connection that takes place as I serve in the educational community.

     After being called by God to the ministry in 2001, I served as the musician and youth pastor in my father's ministry in Diboll, Texas for over 10 years. In addition, I served as the minister of music and staff pastor at Dayspring Family Church in Irving, Texas over 12 years.

     The music ministry is a ministry that is dear to my heart. Singing, playing the piano and organ is something that I not only enjoy, but it is one of the ways that I offer worship and praise to God.

     As the pastor of Intersection Church, although a heavy responsibility, I am excited to meet you, pray with you, and serve you! Let's worship together and experience the place "where the heart of the people connects with the Heart of God!"
